5 Ingredient Pumpkin Chicken Sausage Pasta
Servings: 4What you’ll need:
1 package al fresco Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage, sliced into 1/4 inch rounds
1 package (16oz.) of rigatoni pasta, cooked
1 tbsp. olive oil
12oz. canned pumpkin puree
1 cup fat free half and half
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Optional: spinach or crushed red pepper flakes
Directions:
- In a non-stick pan or skillet, heat olive oil on medium heat. Once oil is glistening, add chicken sausage and cook for about 5 minutes, occasionally stirring so both sides of sausage get browned.
- Once sausage is browned, add pumpkin puree, half and half, cheese, garlic powder and optional crushed red pepper flakes and greens if desired.
- Stir and cook until heated through. Add cooked pasta to pan and combine.
- Enjoy!
