2 tsp olive oil

4 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup Parmesan cheese

1/2 tsp salt

crushed red pepper, to taste

Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the pan. Once melted add garlic, and sauté for a minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.
