Italian Chicken Sausage Stuffed Peppers

"This easy stuffed pepper recipe is filled with al fresco Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage, rice, marinara, and topped with gooey mozzarella cheese and fresh parsley. "

Ingredients

1 package al fresco Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage, sliced

4 Red or Green Peppers

1 cup cooked white rice

Jar of your favorite marinara sauce

Mozzarella, for topping

Fresh parsley, for topping

Directions:

  • 1Begin by preheating your oven to 400 degrees F.
  • 2Turn your stove onto medium high and char peppers slightly on all sides.
  • 3Cut off the tops of the peppers and clean out the insides.
  • 4In a medium sized sauce pan, heat the marinara. Add in cooked rice and slices of the al fresco Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage.
  • 5Put your filling inside of the peppers.
  • 6Top with mozzarella cheese and fresh parsley.
  • 7Bake for about 15 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  • 8Serve and enjoy!
