Open-Faced Greek Chicken Sausage Gyros

What you’ll need:

1 package al fresco Smoked Andouille Chicken Sausage

4 frozen naan breads

1/2 cup store-bought roasted red peppers hummus (your preference)

1/2 cup diced cucumber

1/2 cup diced fresh tomato

Garlic chili paste, for garnish

Mint leaves, for garnish

Fresh lemon juice, for squeezing

  • Slice the sausages and sear them in a pan until you get a little browning on both sides, just a few minutes.
  • Put the frozen naan into the oven for a few minutes, until warmed through, and you're ready to assemble.
  • Spread the hummus over each warmed naan, and top with chicken sausage, diced cucumber and tomato, fresh mint, a dollop of chili garlic paste, and a good squeeze of lemon juice over everything.
