Roasted Pepper & Asiago Chicken Sausage Pantry Pasta

"Sometimes you just need a quick meal during a busy day! Here’s a 15min pasta recipe using just five ingredients + my favorite sausage links by Al Fresco. All you’ll need is your choice of pasta, tomato sauce, pesto paste, and Parmesan cheese. Don’t forget to add a little bit of salt to your pasta water (but we all know that). A little bit goes a long way, especially with how flavorful these Roasted Pepper & Asiago Chicken Sausages are."

Roasted Pepper & Asiago Chicken Sausage Pantry Pasta

Servings: 4
What you’ll need:

1 package al fresco Roasted Pepper & Asiago Chicken Sausage

12oz. spaghetti or other long pasta

8oz Choice of tomato sauce

6oz of pesto paste

2 cups finely grated Parmesan, plus more for serving

Directions:
  • Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water, stirring occasionally, until very al dente
  • Meanwhile, cook links and ¼ cup oil in a large heavy pot over medium heat, flipping occasionally, for 7 minutes.
  • Remove pasta water from pot, leaving one cup inside the pot
  • Mix in pesto paste, tomato sauce, cooked links, and parmesan cheese, and serve.
