Rustic Chicken Sausage Flatbread

What you’ll need:

2 links al fresco Sweet Italian Style Chicken Sausage

1 pizza crust

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup of garlic alfredo sauce

1/2 cup of baby spinach

1/2 cup of baby sweet tomatoes, sliced in half

Parmesan cheese

Optional: 1 tbsp of garlic herb butter, melted

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Cook the al fresco chicken sausage links in a non-stick pan for about 7-9 minutes until browned. Once it’s heated through, slice into rounds.
  • While the chicken sausage is cooking, roll out your pizza dough onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. 
  • Top with alfredo sauce, baby spinach, and mozzarella cheese. Add chicken sausage and tomatoes. If desired, brush the crust edges with the garlic herb butter.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are golden brown and cheese is melted. 
  • Sprinkle on some parmesan cheese, slice and enjoy!
