Busiate pasta with chicken sausage

Servings: 3
What you’ll need:

1 package al fresco Roasted Pepper and Asiago Chicken Sausage

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 onion, chopped

1 clove of garlic, chopped

1 16 oz can canned tomatoes

1 15 oz can canned tomato sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon aleppo pepper

Directions:
  • In a large pot drizzle in olive oil and sautee onions until softened
  • Add in garlic and chicken sausage and cook until browned on medium heat
  • Add in tomato sauce and canned tomatoes, salt, pepper, basil, aleppo pepper and let simmer on low heat
  • Cook pasta of choice according to the packaging and serve with cooked sauce. Top with more aleppo pepper and enjoy
