Chicken Sausage Rolls with Caramelized Onions and Peppers

Ingredients

1 package of al Fresco Sweet Apple Chicken Sausage

Bread rolls of choice

1 large white onion, sliced

1 large red bell pepper, sliced

Avocado oil

1 tbsp of sugar

Salt and Pepper

Directions:

  • 1Light up the grill and get the char going on the al Fresco Sweet Apple Chicken Sausage.
  • 2While the chicken sausage is heating up and getting a good char, in a saucepan add in your onions and bell peppers with 1 tbsp of sugar, and salt and pepper and stir until it’s a translucent and lightly brown consistency on low-medium heat.
  • 3Then set your vegetables aside and butter your rolls and toast them on the pan.
  • 4Set it aside on a tray.
  • 5Then when your chicken sausage has fully heated up and it’s grilled to your liking, assemble your roll with the chicken sausage, and then top it off with your caramelized onions and bell peppers! That’s it, enjoy with an easy side or leftovers!
