Nashville Hot Chicken Sausage Veggie Skillet

Serves: 2

"Delicious skillet dinner for two"

Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil

3 al fresco Nashville Hot chicken sausages, cut into coins

1 red bell pepper, cut

1 green bell pepper, cut

1 broccoli crown, cut

1 medium zucchini, cut into coins

salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

  • 1Cut the chicken sausage into coins, and chop the veggies.
  • 2Over medium heat, add olive oil to a large pan/skillet. Add the chicken sausage to the pan. Cook until the sausage is crispy & slightly browned.
  • 3Add the chopped onion. Stir and cook. Add the bell peppers, and then broccoli and zucchini. Continue to stir and cook until the veggies are tender. This should take about 5 minutes.
  • 4Sprinkle salt & pepper all over. Stir to combine. Serve warm. Can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
